This lemonade stand is about so much more than a cup of lemonade.
Before Mary Duck went home to be with Jesus, she had something special on her heart—a bucket list between her and God. One of her wishes was simple, but full of love: she wanted her friends at Colonial Lodge to give away free lemonade to people in the community.
It wasn’t about selling anything or raising money. It was simply about giving—offering a cold drink, a smile, a kind word, and a little bit of joy to someone who might need it.
Although Mary is no longer here with us to see her wish happen, we believe the love God placed in her heart can continue through the people who loved her.
So her friends are finishing this piece of her bucket list for her with the help of her Hospice company that adored her, Hope Health Care. 💕
Every cup of lemonade handed out will be a little reminder of Mary, of kindness, and of how God can use even the simplest things to bless someone else.
Mary may have gone home to Jesus before she could see this day, but the seed she planted is still growing.
Sometimes when life gives us lemons, Jesus shows us how to make lemonade. 🍋❤️
